Contemporary museum of calligraphy
The multicolored palette of Russian museums was recently added by a new bright contrast – on July 22, 2008 the Contemporary museum of calligraphy was born. Its emerging on the art scene marked a new stage in the history of arts. Since that moment the calligraphers that before were separated from each other by this or that reason, have a place which they call their second home.
The Russian museum society positively met the birth of a new “child” – just in a year the Contemporary museum of calligraphy became an institutional member of the International council of museums (ICOM).
Nowadays the Museum is a place for colorful social projects and events. Each of these events is a good chance for all the calligraphy lovers to enjoy the fantastic world of beautiful forms.
